Welcome to SYSTEM and G, a real EVS success story. We are a dynamic NGO created by young people for young people, offering quality local, national, and international projects that expand horizons.
This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
Not Another Organization for Youth
Created by young people with fewer opportunities for young people with fewer opportunities, System and G is a learning-to-learn project itself!
In June 2010, two ex-EVS volunteers decided to create an informal group to offer mobility and non-formal education opportunities to Greek youth of the Olympic Village. Just 6 months later, it became an NGO.
We prioritize youngsters with fewer opportunities, organizing quality local, national, and international projects to give them international experience, and supportive competence development.
Before we became facilitators, we were participants. We combine outdoor and digital tools, traditional and new methods, ensuring that learners choose the method that fits them best.
Connecting Greek youth to regional and global networks of change.
Official Euro-Mediterranean network promoting intercultural dialogue and civic partnership.
European network against nationalism, racism, fascism and in support of migrants and refugees.
Cooperating on development initiatives and active citizenship frameworks for young people.
European policy media partner, publishing news on youth mobility and civic dialogue projects.
From Local to International
Tracking the expansion of System and G from a small group in Olympic Village to a multi-national youth network.
Started as an informal youth group of two EVS volunteers returning home, looking to empower youth in local olympic village community.
In just six months, the initiative grew in popularity, officially forming a registered NGO focusing on youth with fewer opportunities.
Supported by the Greek National Agency, this initiative launched the organization onto a national level, establishing partnerships across all regions of Greece.
Our active location base moved to Komotini, hosting ESC/EVS volunteers. Run in cooperation with Directorate of Secondary Education of Rhodopi. We also expanded branches to Crete.
We set up active NGOs and informal groups across Europe:
